kanbot

kanbot runs a team of Claude Code or Codex agents from a GitHub Project board. You write and prioritize issues. Agents plan, build, review and fix. You approve plans and merge PRs.

Demo

One card from idea to a reviewed PR, in about 7 minutes (3 minute video).

Learn

Read these in order the first time.

  1. Getting started: install and set up a repo.
  2. Development flow: how work moves across the board, and where you step in.
  3. Capturing ideas: file ideas by chatting with your agent, from anywhere.
  4. Working outside the board: local sessions, your own PRs, direct commits.

Customize

  1. Capabilities: hand the work on code to your own skills and agents.
  2. Agents: the agent team and how to change it.
  3. Skills: shared know-how and project conventions.
  4. Project memory: corrections on PRs become facts agents keep.
  5. Configuration: config file, labels and notifications.

Options

  1. Providers: use Claude or Codex.
  2. Identity and merging: talk as a kanbot bot, and merge by approving.
  3. Copilot review: add GitHub Copilot as a cloud reviewer.

Reference

  1. Upgrading: get new agents and skills, keep your edits.
  2. CLI usage: every command and flag.
